FIRENZE IN QUATTRO STAGIONI

Ma quassù al piazzale la perfida Firenze sfodera tutta la sua seducente bellezza, colorando le due nubi appese nel cielo di rosea timidezza e allora, innamorati, le si perdona tutto. Ci si commuove vederla, piccina e fragile, con il palloncino rosso della cupola tra le dita scure dei tetti, il vestitino elegante del Duomo, il verde pon pon della Sinagoga, e ai suoi piedi il nastro di velluto del fiume. Matrigna, è tornata bambina e su di lei veglia la sapiente San Miniato, seduta in cima alla scalinata bianca, come una regina sopra una portantina, con il pettorale del mosaico dorato in bella vista.
