Identificata spesso con il potere, Mosca ha in realtà un’anima ostinatamente ribelle. Dalla rivolta del rame del 1662 alla Rivoluzione d’ottobre, dai demoni di Sergej Nečaev eternati da Dostoevskij fino alle proteste anti-governative del 2011-2012 e a quelle attuali, la vecchia capitale russa si rivela popolata da anarchici, dissidenti e artisti capaci di appropriarsi dei luoghi-simbolo del dispotismo e di mutarli radicalmente di segno. Often identified with power, Moscow actually has a stubbornly rebellious soul.From the Copper Revolt of 1662 to the October Revolution, from the demons of Sergei Nechyayev eternalized by Dostoevsky to the anti-government protests of 2011-2012 and to the current ones, the old Russian capital turns out to be populated by anarchists, dissidents and artists capable of appropriating the symbolic places of despotism and of radically changing their signs.
